Your property value shouldn’t be confusing or intimidating. I will clearly explain how property values are determined, provide easy access to assessment information online, and communicate openly about changes in values.

Service-Oriented

The Assessor’s Office works for the people of Santa Fe County. I will focus on responsive customer service, clear communication, and outreach opportunities for residents across the semi-urban and rural communities.

Appeal Process

Every taxpayer has the right to question their property values. I will protect a fair and impartial appeal process and make sure residents and business owners understand their rights and how to navigate the process.

Technology

Modern tools can improve accuracy and efficiency when used responsibly. I will invest in technology that reduces errors, improves online services, and protects sensitive taxpayer data.

Integrity

The Assessor’s Office must remain professional and nonpartisan. I will uphold the law, follow ethical standards, and treat every property owner equally—without bias or special interests.
